Micah: Ruined and Restored

Micah. A minor prophet with a major message: the Lord's restoration for a ruined people. This is a story of sin and grace, wrongdoing and restoration. Is this not a message worth hearing for us today? We were sinners then and God was gracious, we are sinners today and God is still gracious. We see God's people in Micah's day are corrupted by sin, refusing to embrace God's design for their lives. Yet even though these sins demand a Holy God's judgment, we see the grace and covenant faithfulness of a Shepherd-King. Here is a grand story pointing forward to the true King Jesus on whom every extension of God's grace is founded.
