Children's Sunday School
One of our reasons Bellevue exists is that it grew out of a gathering on Sunday mornings for Sunday school. So Sunday school for 190 years has been an important aspect of Bellevue. Sunday School still meets each Sunday morning from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. There are classes for anyone ages 2-102.
Sunday school is overseen by the Christian Education Committee but if you have any questions feel free to call the church office.
Most Sunday Sunday school classes are on the lower level of the church.
Adult Sunday School
The ongoing education and sanctification of the Christian is a joyful burden we bear here at Bellevue. Ours is the call to “present everyone mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28). Therefore we strive to have high quality, Bible-centered Adult Sunday School classes to offer every quarter which lasts for three months at a time. They start the first Sunday of September, December, March and June. The amount of classes we offer, the topics, who is teaching and the format will change but each class will strive to learn what scripture is teaching. You can join any class at any point during the quarter. Generally classes meet in the large Fellowship Hall downstairs but occasionally a class will meet in the church library.
Our Adult Education courses meet during the Christian Education hour, from 9:30am to 10:30am every Sunday.
