We are glad you are exploring Bellevue Presbyterian Church. We are a church of over 300 believers who are committed to worshipping God and sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are excited about what God is doing in our midst and hope you will share our excitement and vision as you learn more about our church. Please feel free to contact us via email, by calling the church office (717-442-4077) or worshiping with us any Sunday morning.
Here are some commonly asked questions about what a Sunday experience might be like at Bellevue...
What are Worship Services Like?
- Worship services usually last about an hour and fifteen minutes.
- The music at our services is best described as traditional.
- Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month, and consists of grape juice and bread. Gluten-free wafers are also provided on the tray. All of the components of communion are taken in the pew, served to the congregation by an ordained elder or deacon.
- There is a coffee hour available in the large room outside the sanctuary (Friendship Hall), to which all are welcome before, between, and after services.
What is Your Address?

What Time Should I Arrive?
First service begins at 8am and goes until 9:15am.
From 9:30am-10:30am we have children's, youth, and adult Sunday School classes.
Second service begins at 10:45am and goes until 12pm.
How Should I Dress?
Bellevue doesn’t have a dress code; some folks come to church in suits and other dress in a more casual manner.
Where Do I Go?
If you enter through the main entrance, you will be greeted by one of our Welcome Center hosts. Their job is to make sure that you feel welcome and to answer any questions that you may have when you arrive. Immediately behind them and to the right is our Welcome Center where another host can direct you.
Where Do My Kids Go?
If you are joining us for our 8am service
Children 4 and under are welcome in the nursery, on the same level as the sanctuary. From the main entrance, walk straight back and turn right: the nursey is the last door before the stairs. Children older than 4 are invited to sit with you during the service.
If you and/or your children are joining us for Sunday School (9:30am – 10:30am)
Children’s Sunday School classes meet on the lower level of the building. From the main entrance, walk straight back and turn right; take the stairs at the end of the hallway. Our Sunday School rooms are numbered; please visit our Children’s Sunday School page to see which room has the class for your child.
If you are joining us for our 10:45am service
Children 4 and under are welcome in the nursery, on the same level as the sanctuary. From the main entrance, walk straight back and turn right: the nursey is the last door before the stairs. Children older than 4 are invited to sit with you during the service. Children in 2nd grade and under will be invited to the front of sanctuary for a short “Children’s Sermon”, and then be dismissed to our “Children’s Church” for the remainder of the service. They will come back to the sanctuary for the last hymn. Your children are always welcome with you in the sanctuary, and they are not required to leave for Children’s Church.
